But here I am,
Hanging on ever phone call,
every text message,
every letter.
They make me smile, and they make me cry.
But I live for every moment that I get to see his smile
and hear his laugh…
And through his tough times,
though they’re tougher on me than I’ll let him know
I’ll love him no matter how far he is from home
and I’ll always be here
waiting to welcome him back
be it from training,
a weekend with the boys or war,
With a big hug, a smile and a kiss
